Did mean ole Wynonna make Carrie cry?
Backstage at Monday's "CMT Music Awards", WYNONNA was asked for her opinion on CARRIE UNDERWOOD'S music. (--Right after Carrie won both Breakthrough Video of the Year. . . and Female Video of the Year.) Wynonna admitted she doesn't know much of Carrie's work, but did add that she's a good singer.
--And then she launched into what she REALLY thought. . . saying that it takes more than a good voice to make it today. . . and wishing for a new, bluesy female artist to come along because, in Wynonna's opinion, today's country singing is, quote, "VANILLA". Apparently she'd like to see more of an edgy, growling "breakthrough artist".
--What Our Chubby Wynonna didn't realize was that the night's "breakthrough artist" was standing behind a curtain nearby, waiting to be interviewed. And supposedly, Carrie became visibly TEARY-EYED as she listened to Wynonna slam the state of country music today. . . thinking, for good reason, that Wynonna was talking about HER.
--A few moments later, when Carrie was taking questions from the press, Wynonna barged back into the room to redeem herself. She blabbed on about not meaning for her comments to sound "that way". . . and offered Carrie this patronizing statement. . . quote, "I heard you tonight and said, 'That girl can really sang. . . s-a-n-g.'"

Ok, not to beat a dead horse, but if you would have seen the video,you would have seen, none of that was directed an Carrie Underwood. She said multiple times *its not her* * I think shes really good*. Carrie Underwood just needs to grow up and act like an adult.
wynonna is entitled to her own opinion my god-she might be the most accomplished and incredible female artist in country music. Carrie is vanilla and that works for her and many others but Wy can have her own opinion so lets not get pissy and sensitive
