KIDS CHOOSE TOP 10 TOYS
FamilyFun magazine had 1,400 kids test more than 500 toys in order to come up with a top 10 that was unveiled Tuesday (October 4th) at the Children's Museum of Manhattan in New York and will be featured in the magazine's November issue. The winners are:
Knights' Empire Castle -- A build-it-yourself castle with a moat, drawbridge and secret trap door. (Playmobil)
3-D Pool Table -- A pool game in which balls can be hit down or up to different levels. (Zocker Toys)
Shake 'N Go! Speedway -- A racetrack with cars that are revved up by shaking. (Fisher-Price)
ChatNow -- Fake cell phone that lets kids talk and text message within a two-mile radius. (Tiger Electronics)
Slurpee Drink Maker -- Makes Slurpee frozen drinks. (Spin Master)
Darth Vader Voice Changer -- Helmet that changes a child's voice to that of Darth Vader. (Hasbro)
Go Go TV -- Video game system that combines video camera technology with infrared and motion sensors to put the child in the game. (Toy Quest)
Pyrates Dread Eye's Phantom -- A kit to build a pirate ship with firing cannons, trap doors and a dungeon. (Mega Bloks)
Nylint Rock Crawler -- Remote control, 4-wheel drive vehicle. (FunRise)
Card Kit -- Kit to make greeting cards. (American Girl)
