Entertainment Report

SNOOP DOGG LAUNCHES SKATEBOARDING COMPANY
Rapper and actor Snoop Dogg already has his own clothing line, his own limited-edition Cadillac, and his own line of Pony sneakers, but the rapper recently decided to expand his empire by launching a skateboarding company. Allhiphop.com reports that the new company Snoop Dogg Board Company (SDBC) will launch a complete line of long and short skateboards, accessories, and backpacks. The company will also make high-end Snoop Dogg luggage and travel bags. SDBC will be distributed by Pentagon Distribution. The distribution company's president, Duane Pacha, said, "Bing Worthington, Jr., Snoop Dogg's brother, came to us with a vision of bridging these two industries together because there is already so much crossover between skateboarding and the rap/hip-hop market."

MARY TYLER MOORE HEADED TO 'THAT '70s SHOW'

Television legend Mary Tyler Moore is headed back to familiar ground. The Emmy-winning actress is set to guest star on three episodes of That '70s Show, which will be filmed on the same soundstage where The Mary Tyler Moore Show was shot. Moore will also retread The Mary Tyler Moore Show's newsroom setting on the Fox comedy by playing a local newscaster who hires Jackie as her personal assistant.

In the storyline, Moore plays Christine St. George, anchor of Point Place's daily news program, "What's Up Wisconsin?" Christine is one of Fez's regular customers at his hair salon and surprises Jackie and the rest of the crew with her not so nice off-camera demeanor. Moore's guest spots will air next year, with exact dates to be announced later.
